Gene Todaro is Louisiana Parole Project’s Development Coordinator. He joined our staff after spending three decades in the hospitality industry, working across south Louisiana. Passionate about advocating for second chances, Gene brings his experience and talent to help people through ministry, advocacy, and philanthropy. At Parole Project, he’s grateful to pursue work that aligns with his values. Gene studied Anthropology at LSU and is currently working on a master’s degree in Pastoral Studies at Loyola University New Orleans. Outside of work and school, Gene enjoys the outdoors, sea kayaking, river rafting, and hiking whenever he can. He and his wife live in Baton Rouge with their dogs and have two sons who live out of state.
