Jonathan joined Parole Project’s reentry staff in November 2023. A former Parole Project client, he earned his second chance in July 2018 after 33 years of incarceration. Shortly after his release, Jonathan reunited with his family in Florida and lived there for the next five years.
Although he loves the beaches of Pensacola, Jonathan felt called to return to Louisiana and help other men and women rebuild their lives. “Baton Rouge feels like home,” he said, “and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to help other people like me.”
