Estefan
Estefan is a reentry court participant who earned his second chance. While incarcerated, he completed a certification in welding and is ready to find employment in the field.
Robert
After 24 years in prison, Robert earned his second chance. He is an experienced mechanic and a resident in our transitional housing program.
Jason
While incarcerated, Jason prepared for his second chance. After release, he completed Parole Project's intensive reentry programming and recently started his job as a carpenter.
Shawn
Shawn was given a life without parole sentence when he was 15 years old. After 32 years in prison, he received his second chance. While incarcerated, he earned a welding certification and participated in multiple self-help programs. His goal is to earn his commercial driver's license.

Michael Helps Others Find Their Way Home

It’s 11 a.m. on a Tuesday morning and Michael Coats is teaching a 60-minute peer support class called “Overcoming Institutional Habits.” It is one of
