Sean
Sean was released on his birthday after spending 25 years in prison. While incarcerated, he completed a litany of rehabilitative programs and trained boxers in his spare time. He is looking forward to reuniting with his mom and family in Shreveport.
Charles
Charles is thankful for a second chance. Before he was incarcerated, he completed three years of college. While incarcerated he learned multiple trade skills including woodworking and pipefitting. He also enjoys golf, fishing, sports, and watching movies.
Ricky
After 20 years in prison, Ricky is ready for a fresh start. While incarcerated, he worked as a groundskeeper and was trained in the use of pesticides. He was also active in his faith and became a trusty. He’s eager to reconnect with his three children and grandson.
Marxquis
Marxquis was recently released after serving 22 years. In prison, he learned carpentry and welding skills. He loves animals and is passionate about reading, writing and fitness. He dreams of owning a gym.
Aaron
Aaron spent 25 years in prison where he joined Toastmasters and was active in church. He earned an associate's degree from Ashland University and enjoys basketball, playing pool, and reading. He is excited to move to Florida after completing phase one of our reentry program.
Mark
Mark is happy to be reunited with his wife and four grown children after 20 years in prison. He is an electrician and carpenter and is looking forward to returning to his home in northeast Louisiana where he will work with his three sons as an electrician. In his spare time, he loves playing music and spending time with his rescue dog.
Chakha
At age 17, Chakha received a life without parole sentence. After spending 30 years in prison, he is home and excited to spend time with his wife and begin his career as a mechanic. While incarcerated, he became a certified automotive technician with a degree from Louisiana Technical College.
