So Much to be Thankful For

The rain couldn’t dampen the spirits of the dozen or so Parole Project clients and other members of the community who gathered in the spacious back yard of one of Parole Project’s Redemption Homes to celebrate Thanksgiving.  Large open-air tents were erected over long tables filled with traditional Thanksgiving fare like turkey, ham, a wide assortment of sides and several desserts.  For our clients who no longer have family or who could not join their families for the holiday due to distance or the pandemic, the get-together was especially meaningful and appreciated.

Thank you to attorney Emily Posner and her wife Jennifer Vitry and attorney Emily Ratner and her partner Mauricio Sierra of New Orleans, and Roberta Henrion of Detroit, Michigan, whose generosity made the Thanksgiving feast possible.
