As a client advocate, Reneé blends her management experience and social work education to obtain the best outcomes for our clients. “I love advocating for others on the macro and micro levels. I enjoy helping others achieve their goals.” She believes effecting meaningful systemic change must start from the top.
An Atlanta native, Reneé moved to Louisiana from South Carolina in 2004. She has an extensive background in medical management, having managed multiple hospital-based medical practices. After settling in the Baton Rouge area, Reneé embarked on a new career and returned to school to pursue social work. She got to know Parole Project as a social work intern while in graduate school. After she earned her Master of Social Work degree from LSU in May 2023, Reneé joined our full-time staff the following summer.
Reneé is married and has two adult children. She has deep interests in gerontology, restorative justice,
and supporting people with special needs.
